Livingston County employees were honored for their years of county service during the county’s annual Christmas party at the Knights of Columbus Hall Friday evening. Certificates were presented by East District Commissioner Ken Lauhoff (second from left) and Presiding Commissioner Eva Danner (third from left). Recipients were Assessor Steve Ripley (left), 20 years; 911 Coordinator Cathy Peniston (fourth from left), five years; and Deputy Assessor Angie Case (far right), five years. Detention Officer Derrick Allen, who was not present because he is currently serving in Kosovo with the National Guard, was recognized for his five years of service to the county.
