HOLIDAY BELL RINGING
December 3, 2011
It was a battle for the ages at the Chillicothe
Walmart in the annual city vs.
county bell-ringing fundraiser contest to see which set of officials could earn
the most money for the Salvation Army campaign.
Chillicothe City officials
set up shop at the north doors of the store, and Livingston County
officials (like Linda Gilliland and Debbie Anderson, shown) set up at the
south doors.
This year, the County took home bragging rights
in a landslide, with a $393.32 to $189.75 final tally ($583.07 raised, total).
